Promoted Work: Elle Muliarchyk
I have never met Elle Muliarchyk but I think that she is in possession of what I call the crazy-fire which is that elusive quality that mixes creative fire with just enough crazy to be wild and bold without falling off the edge. It's the kind of crazy that's contagious.
She has an amazingly professional site where you can see her portfolio and buy prints. She also has a great blog and does some cool work in film:

Promoted Work: Harold Pereira
I've been pushing some dark stuff with my promotions lately so it is a real nice change to promote work that is warm and natural. Harold Pereira's work can be found on his main site and he also posts new work onto his tumblr.
Promoted Work: Hugo Keizer
Hugo Keizer is not a relaxed, easy-going photographer - his models are subjected to his intense eye. We the viewers are not let off lightly either because his models gaze right back with the same intensity. Great work. Go visit his site for a lesson in how to stare at people.
Promoted Work: Massalo
Massalo hails from Angola. His work soaks up Africa; it's bold and dark, colourful and mysterious.
Send him some love by visiting his main site and following his tumblr.
Promoted Work: REVS Magazine Issue #3 BIRTH
I have dreams about this kind of work. Dark, impenetrable dreams.
I don't even know what to write; it's hard to explain - I get so fucking excited by this that I literally feel it in a physical way. I love a lot of different work for a lot of different reasons but this shit just goes straight to the big red button hidden in the back of my brain.
They are plugged into some primal creative force:
Promoted Work: Hugo Keizer
Hugo Keizer is an intense guy. He is a man who is deep into the process of photography but this is no technical navel-gazing - it is the vehicle by which he pursues the dark and inexplicable nature of his subjects.
Bookmark his site, it is a lesson in the unknowable.
Promoted Work: Massalo
AFRICA! MASSALO!
Very few people are aware that this site is constructed in the African bush - so when I got an email from Massalo, I was intrigued and went to see his work. I love it. It is everything great about Africa - it's bold and colorful; mysterious and dark.
Send Africa some love by going to Massalo's main site and following him on tumblr.
Promoted Work: NOT VOGUE
There is no more important work than dismantling people's inherited beliefs about status, money, beauty and value.
NOT VOGUE is not happy camp. It is an indictment on trend setters and influence peddlers but it is also a celebration of outsiders and iconoclastic creativity.
Bookmark NOT VOGUE - there is something going on there that smells like revolution.
Promoted Work: NOT VOGUE
NOT VOGUE is my favorite website. I have stolen some of it's images but what does not come across is the one, two punch of images and text that is unique to NOT VOGUE.
It is the clear voice of someone who has insider knowledge and is deeply disillusioned and cynical about mass consumption and the influence peddlers who pull the strings. But a cynic is someone who knows that things can and should be better; NOT VOGUE is also a celebration of the outsiders, iconoclasts and creatives that push the boundaries of their art.
Don't expect an easy read.
