My Self-Portrait Competition has one week left before entries close. I will post all the entrants (with attribution & links) on Wednesday 20 June.

I really would like to know who's out there + there are two really great Billy Kidd prints up for grabs.

Self-Portrait Competition

There is no need to make it a huge production - I'm not going to be swayed by shallow production values. Cell-phone cameras or pencil drawings are absolutely fine.

Promoted Work: Calling Artists

"Promoted Work" has been on hold while my self-portrait competition runs but will be resuming from 17 June. There are a great variety of artists / websites / publications lined up and they run the gamut from student / amateurs right through to established professionals.

I have my own plans for The Quiet Front which are still months from fruition but, as long as this site is up and running, I am going to use it to promote the art that I love (at no cost). There has been quite a lot of interest and I won't be able to promote everybody but being young, obscure or outside the establishment certainly does not exclude you.
