Zakaria Wakrim has just published his full series Amarg on his website.
The series is of the archetypal lone figure in the wilderness; it captures a yearning for travel through these immense landscapes. The images were shot in the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert; the name of the series comes from the Amazigh/Berber word for nostalgia.

Live Life Dearest is by the Columbian director Juan Diego Escobar. It is a nostalgic film that weaves a fictional narrative out of old home movies; it has a beautiful old world feel to it. It's a little different from my usual posts but I'm definitely intrigued enough to back it.
The film has already been made; they are looking to fund it travelling to more international film festivals. Go support it.
Insomnies by Stéphane Coutelle
Stéphane Coutelle is a photographer that I hold in the highest regard. He has just released a signed and limited edition of his book Insomnies; it's a beautiful exploration of nighttime.
If you are a collector of books then this is a must.

I really wasn't planning on this; I stumbled on the project on Kickstarter and immediately recognized Sara Löfwander from this post which I put up over a year ago.
I think there is something really beautiful in the spirit of her work.

This definitely rates as one of my favourite publications; it's a collection of photography, illustration, design and writing that is bold, young and sexy. This is the best indie publishing - I love it.

George E. Holroyd III is selling prints of his Untitled (Rain-soaked poster, Milan) - Platinum & Palladium on paper.
I love how he has completely transformed a found artwork and made a beautiful print of a corrupted one.
I received the link to this site with very few words and no indication of who kphb is; the text is in French and even after translation is impenetrable to me. The images seem to be experiments with light using a LOMO camera. There are some interesting shots on the site but I really love the portrait in yellow light. Check it out.
Thomas Kimmerlin is a photographer and filmmaker has published a two volumes of his work called Mighty Nudes. The images are very analogue and raw but they have a really great feel.

He has also made a documentary film called "A summer with the French kids of Larry Clark" it's definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of Larry Clark.
E. E. McCollum is exhibiting his work in Alexandria, Virginia at The Art League. The opening is tonight.
