Promoted Work: Zakaria Wakrim - Amarg

Zakaria Wakrim has just published his full series Amarg on his website.

The series is of the archetypal lone figure in the wilderness; it captures a yearning for travel through these immense landscapes. The images were shot in the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert; the name of the series comes from the Amazigh/Berber word for nostalgia.

Beautiful work. You can follow him on Flickr

Promoted Work: Live Life Dearest

Live Life Dearest is by the Columbian director Juan Diego Escobar. It is a nostalgic film that weaves a fictional narrative out of old home movies; it has a beautiful old world feel to it. It's a little different from my usual posts but I'm definitely intrigued enough to back it.

The film has already been made; they are looking to fund it travelling to more international film festivals. Go support it.

Promoted Work: Live WITH nature - Exhibition by Dinosaraus

Being naked in nature is when I feel most free.
— Sara Löfwander

I really wasn't planning on this; I stumbled on the project on Kickstarter and immediately recognized Sara Löfwander from this post which I put up over a year ago.

I think there is something really beautiful in the spirit of her work.

There are only a few days left - go support it.
